Ames is a discount department store chain in Eruowood. The first Eruowoodian Ames store opened in 1966. In 1995, Westland Brands, Inc. purchased Ames and Ames became a division of Westland Brands. Even though American Ames stores had closed in 2002, the Eruowoodian Ames stores remain open.
